Preston Oaks Advisors is a commercial real estate consulting firm that provides transactional consulting, project management, financial modeling and investment strategy to well capitalized small and mid-sized companies. We fill the gap that often exists in today's streamlined commercial real estate companies for a versatile and experienced senior-level resource that can be utilized on a fractional basis.
We work with executive leadership teams and business owners to provide strategic alignment and support on current and future real estate investments at an asset, portfolio or fund level. We also provide quantitative and qualitative support on complex, time-consuming special projects involving cross-functional teams.

Given the complexity and long-term nature of many of your projects, we can structure our services on a fractional basis whereby we provide an agreed upon amount of hours each month over a specified period of time. Preston Oaks Advisors was founded in 2010 by Scott Ryan to provide a versatile and experienced senior‐level resource for today’s streamlined commercial real estate companies and private investors. Since inception, Preston Oaks Advisors has provided transactional consulting on over $6.5 billion of commercial real estate.
For over two decades, Scott has worked hand‐in‐hand with institutional clients as well as small private clients on real estate projects throughout the US involving transactional consulting, project management, financial modeling and investment strategy. Whether working on a $1m investment for a small private client, a $500m project for an institutional investor, or closing over $2 billion of commercial real estate for a private REIT, he maintains the same hands‐on approach and personalized attention to each of his clients. Since the beginning of his real estate consulting career with Ernst & Young, he has valued and underwritten over $10 billion of commercial real estate for acquisition, development, and disposition purposes.
Scott is a graduate of Baylor University and a member of the Urban Land Institute. He lives in Dallas with his wife and is the father of two environmentally active millennials. He is an avid and competitive tennis player.
